New Zealand’s largest city offers a lot more than just the shopaholics’ paradise and “spoilt for choice” range of restaurants, theatres, museums and attractions that are immediately obvious and, of course, are all there to be enjoyed.
Today known as "The City of Sails" it lays a sound claim to being the boating capital of New Zealand. There are a myriad of harbour cruise options available and one is never far from the beach.
The greater Auckland region was also the original birthplace of the New Zealand wine industry, with notable wines produced in the west, particularly around Henderson, to the north around Matakana and on Waiheke Island.

Seabactical Retreat is a self contained coastal apartment with its own entrance. It has all the facilities for a self contained stay offering 2 sleeping options. The queen bed space is screened from the main living area and has a tranquil garden outlook or there is a seperate twin bedroom. The apartment overlooks a quiet garden and has a BBQ and deck seating area which leads you through the park to Eastern Beach only a few minutes away.
The apartment has a heat pump, well equipped kitchenette, dishwasher, fridge freezer, combo washing machine / dryer and a modern bathroom.
There is a carpark available for your vehicle and a lockbox for secure entry. Free wifi / TV / Netflix is available.
The peninsula location is unique and offers guests Eastern and/or Bucklands Beach for safe swimming and dining options.
The Half Moon Bay ferry terminal is an easy 25 minute walk or a 5 minute drive should you wish to catch a ferry to the CBD or Waiheke Island.
The apartment is private and seperate from the hosts main home with its own outdoor area and entrance overlooking the public reserve and Eastern Beach.
