Award winning accommodation. Guests love the colourful decor and consistently describe the interior as homely! Children are welcome and there is plenty to keep them occupied.
We are situated on the rural fringe of the beautiful town of Cambridge. About 4km to the town centre or a 5 minute drive. The town is bustling with a good selection of supermarkets, cafes, resteurants, shops and banks. The population of Cambridge is approx 17000. Hamilton a major city is only 15/20 minutes away connected by a four lane newly completed expressway.
There is a good range of activities for kids both onsite and in nearby Cambridge. Including off the main road safe cycling. Our property is bordered by mixed farmland with a number of horse studs also nearby.
The self contained barn has a single bathroom. There are three bedrooms. One is a seperate bedroom with a queen sized bed and anothe bedroom with a queen sized bed with a room attched containing two single beds. It can accommodate up to 6 guests. The base rate applies to a couple with $30 per additional guest. The barn has Wifi and Sky tv.

Kamahi Cottage is light, airy and warm with polished wooden floors downstairs, high beamed ceilings and stylish décor. Our B&B is situated on 2 acres of gardens including plum trees, feijoa trees and a spa pool overlooking it all. Guests enjoy a premium continental breakfast consisting of an array of cereals and muesli, Toast, Fruit Toast, Croissants, Organic Juice and seasonal fruits fresh from our orchard shop. Each room has its own TV along with a 42 inch in the guest lounge with Sky TV. Our orchard shop is located 1 minute down the road from our B&B and guests are encouraged to call in for a visit, enjoy our produce and visit the Homestead Cafe next door. The Homestead Cafe is the hub for all tourists wishing to book tickets and offers a 10% discount. Our property is surrounded in substantial gardens and landscaping allowing our guests to wonder and enjoy during their stay. An approximate one hour drive takes you to the famous Waitomo Caves, Raglan beach on the west coast, Mt Maunganui on the east coast, or to Rotorua with it's abundance of attractions & Maori culture.
The Kauri Lodge Apartment has two bedrooms, one furnished with a queen and a single bed and the other with a king and a single, plus there is a single bed in the lounge. It includes your own private guest lounge and dining area, plus kitchen facilities. While enjoying the view and relaxing, you can have a private BBQ, quiet conversation and drinks on the deck. A short walk can take you to our plantation of native Kauri trees or around the farm if organised with the owners.
The Studio Unit has a queen and a single bed, with plenty of room for another bed, plus a kitchen. This unit is about 100 metres from the main house but it also has amazing views from all the windows and deck.
Nearby, our beautiful “town of trees” Cambridge, has many attractions including cafes and restaurants. It is now the home of cycling in New Zealand, after the completion of our new Avanti Velodrome. Cambridge is also the equine capital of New Zealand, where many famous horses have been bred and trained.
