Our studio apartments, Mt Isobel and Mt Dunblane, have small kitchenettes (microwave no hob).

Each apartment is 44sm, with large bathrooms where you can enjoy the luxury toiletries. The lounge and dining area has great views through the gardens to the mountains beyond.

Guests are spoilt for choice with great cafes and restaurants in Hanmer as well as the world renowned Thermal Pools.

Golfers can just walk down our garden path to the course which has hire clubs and carts.

Mountain bike and walking tracks abound through the forest. Jet boating, quad biking and bungee jumping are all close at hand.

Shopping is a must our little boutique shops provide all the retail therapy you may require.

There is a Smart TV in each room and DVD player, with a large selection of DVD's. Don't forget your login details to the any of the popular apps you mat watch (Netflix, Prime, Apple TV+ etc).

We offer bed and breakfast accommodation on a small farm in a beautiful, peaceful setting adjoining Mount Grey and Ashley Forest. Awen means the spirit of inspiration and few people remain unmoved by the awe-inspiring beauty of our surroundings. Guests come here to paint, take photographs, to walk and sometimes, just to be still and find peace and quiet in the tranquility of the setting. Amberley is a fifteen minute drive away; it has restaurants, a weekly farmers’ market, a real ale brewery and bar, shops, supermarkets and an 18 hole country golf course with stunning views of Amberley Beach. From Awen Lodge it is just a fifteen minute drive to the Waipara Valley with its profusion of vineyards that produce the world famous range of Waipara wines.

Dylans Country Cottages consists of two unique lodge / chalet style cottages "Mahoe" and "Kowhai". The cottages are situated in a rural setting beneath the spectacular Seaward Kaikoura mountain range. Dylan's cottage accommodation is only five minutes from central Kaikoura, 2.5 hours drive from Christchurch and 2 hours drive from the Picton ferries.

Your own private, self contained cottage set amongst the wonderful flower and display gardens of Lavendyl. Our chickens enjoy being fed any leftovers you may have and our sheep love to be hand fed bread and fruit! Tim, the ram, will stand all day while he is getting petted.

The cottages have many quaint touches such as stairs and beds hand made from macrocarpa grown on the property. Both cottages have kitchenettes where simple meals can be prepared. The bedroom is mezzanine style with a sofa bed in the lounge.

The Kowhai Cottage contains a spa bath and a Queen and a Single Bed (upstairs) and a Double foldout settee in the lounge/dining area. The balcony off the bedroom has stunning views to Mt Fyffe.

French Doors open from the lounge to the garden, bringing indoor/outdoor experience New Zealand is famous for.

The Mahoe Cottage adjoins a classic bush outdoor garden bathroom area of it's own with both a bath and shower.

The queen bedroom of Mahoe Cottage (upstairs) opens through French Doors on to its own private balcony. There is a foldout settee (double) downstairs in the lounge/dining area for extra guests or children.

Cozy Cottage has 3 bedrooms with 2 Queen beds and 2 single beds. The kitchen has a fridge with a small freezer on the bottom. A cook top plus oven. A new fully tiled bathroom. Wifi and a Smart TV. In the 2 car garage is a BBQ the garage is fully lockable to keep your bikes and kayaks ect safe.In the laundry there is a fire extinguisher. A fist aid kit is in the pantry cupboard.

Kaikoura also has two fabulous Golf Courses if you fancy a game or two. Two bowling greens if you fancy a roll up. New tennis courts and aquatic centre 5 to 10 mins walk away from CozyCottage.

Karetu Cottage is a wonderful 4 bedroom fully furnished farm house ideally suited for families and larger groups.

Karetu Downs is a 2,000 hectare property situated in the Waipara Gorge North Canterbury. The hill country farm rises to just on 3 thousand feet above sea level. A climb to the top of the farm through tussock tracks provide outstanding views over the countryside looking back to the Southern Alps, the east coast and Christchurch the surrounding areas are breath taking.

Easy drive to Hanmer Springs hot pools, Kaikoura whale watch, Waipara vineyards/cafes and restaurants.

Bendamere House offers 5 quality Studio Ensuite rooms all boosting ocean and mountain views. Expansive lawns and gardens create a relaxing environment for all to enjoy. At times soak up the views and watch the dolphins perform in the bay.
Included in tariff is a lovely breakfast comprising, cereals, fresh fruit bowl, Yoghurt, toast and extensive spreads and honeys, toasted croissants with ham and cheese grilled, orange juice and Tea and coffee.
