Relax with magnificent views of Russell's bay and wharf from the deck of our beautifully restored 1913 villa, or from our luxury guest cottage with spacious guest rooms, with ensuites, leading out on to your large verandah. Have breakfast al fresco, while surrounded by mature native trees and birdsong, tuis, kereru, weka, (even kiwi calling in the night). In the evening relax in the setting sun with a cool glass of wine before wandering down to the village to one of Russell's fine restaurants. A short walk takes you to Long Bay surf beach or historic Flagstaff hill and native bush. Your suite is complete with tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator, microwave, TV, beach towels, laundry facilities. We have a half acre of garden with plenty of outdoor furniture for total relaxation in the sun or shady areas.
Off Street parking is provided. You may also be greeted by our friendly family dog.
Complimentary afternoon tea/coffee is provided on arrival.

We are situated just 7 minutes from Russell village but within a special enclave of garden and seashore where many rare birds such as kiwi live in a protected environment.

For the best views in Russell come to Bellrock Lodge, which is on the hill overlooking the bay and the lovely village of Russell. We are only a 5 minute stroll to the village and wharf.
Luxury en-suite rooms with private entrance and French doors leading out of your room onto your private patio. The rooms can either have twin beds (2 singles) or a super king bed. Each room has: Free-view TV, DVD player, Radio/CD/iPod dock, air conditioner, fully equipped kitchenette, 2 leather recliners and dining table and chairs. Spacious bathrooms with the usual plus large shower and bidet. Off street parking and free WiFi.

From Russell wharf board the sight seeing boats going to Hole in the Rock, dolphin watching, fishing charters. By taking the passenger ferry to Paihia you can board the bus taking you to Cape Reinga or Hocking. A taxi will take from Paihia wharf to Waitangi. Russell has various historical buildings, lovely beaches, good restaurants and pubs, interesting walks and a great atmosphere. Russell is a short distance off the main high way, which is a great advantage as we do not have the crowds and noise.

“ Aimeo Iti” :You will have your own private entry and you are separate from our living space upstairs. A Queen Size bed, and sofa bed, fully equipped kitchenette with small oven, microwave and all amenities, seating area und dining table, Polynesian décor. All linen and towels supplied. Sky TV, DVD, free Wi-Fi, free off street parking.
You get only a very small glimpse to the Bay from here but the Studio is surrounded by a subtropical garden, very quiet and relaxing. A sheltered private Patio to enjoy all day sun, outdoor furniture, BBQ and Strandkorb ( beach basket)
A short stroll through the bush leads you to an almost private swimming beach.
Aimeo is situated on a secluded peninsula (Okiato) with abundance of native bird life, beach and bush walks from your doorsteps. It is an ideal location for those who like to escape the bustle of summer crowds and yet enjoy the offer of an old world charm village.
Russell Township is a 9 min drive away with its historic sites, shops and Restaurant, Cafes, Supermarket, Boutique shops , Museum, Pompallier mission house and French Café, and you can pick up all excursions on the water from Russell Wharf.
You may walk ( 2 minutes) to the car ferry and cross over to Opua for small shopping or visit the Bay of Islands Marina with Café and Opua Cruising Club with a restaurant.
To the Winery "OMATA estate" with restaurant is a 5 min drive.

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

The house sleeps 6 (one queen sized bed, one king sized bed and 2 single beds), and includes airconditioning, a wood burner, and a well equiped kitchen.
