Located at the edge of the Napier CBD, you’re perfectly situated to explore city on foot or to head further afield to the many attractions and destinations Hawke’s Bay has to offer. If you want to make your Hawke’s Bay experience extra special, we look forward to meeting you. 415 Marine Parade offers among other things, full cooked breakfasts, evening drinks with canapes, and a turndown service, with chocolates and port. All hosted in extremely comfortable surroundings. All suites have sea views, with four suites opening onto balconies.

McHardy Lodge is a 5 star Lodge situated in an historic 1890s villa on exclusive Napier Hill with stunning views of the mountains and Pacific Ocean. The Lodge has four sumptuous deluxe suites, featuring ultra comfortable super king beds and spacious bathrooms with deep tub or claw foot baths and separate showers, and two standard queen rooms with shower rooms en suite.

McHardy Lodge provides a luxurious and centrally located base from which to experience the Hawkes Bay wineries and gourmet dining experiences, the Art Deco heritage, golf at Cape Kidnappers, the Gannet Colony or our fantastic cycle trails around Hawkes Bay. Or it may be the perfect place to simply relax and unwind in luxurious surroundings in the Hawkes Bay sunshine, whilst still being within walking distance (or short drive) of the attractions of Napier City.

Biddy and Brin welcome you to their architecturally designed waterfront home offering warm hospitality, stunning sea views and beautiful sunrises from the comfort of your bedroom. We also offer cosy surroundings and a continental breakfast. The B&B suite consists of a private lounge (with TV, Netflix, fridge,tea/coffee making facilities) a separate bedroom (with queen bed and quality linen) and a private bathroom with spa bath and separate shower.
Enjoy the views across the beach towards Mahia, Napier port and Bluff Hill. Experience the magic of the sun rising out of the Pacific Ocean and on those special nights the full moon rising over the sea! As we are on the National walkway/cycleway, you may enjoy a walk or a cycle (we have bikes available) soaking up the Hawke's Bay sun. Most days you can enjoy a swim in the sea, right in front of our house followed by a welcoming hot spa.
Napier has many events over the summer including the Art Deco celebrations, the Mission winery concert and Church Road winery Jazz concert. The world class Cape Kidnappers golf course and gannet colony are a 30-minute drive away. There are also many wineries to visit and warm balmy evenings to enjoy.

The Cow & Calf are 2 modern self-contained cottages.

The Cow sleeps 4 people, with one double bed & 2 singles (PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE SMALL SINGLES & MEASURE 183cm x 65cm). There is a spacious open plan lounge with smart TV, a modern fully fitted & well-equipped kitchen & bathroom with shower & toilet. It is double glazed, with heat pump, smoke & carbon monoxide alarms.

The Calf has everything you need whilst away from home: your own bathroom with shower & toilet, single bed, smart TV, heat pump, microwave, kettle, toaster & fridge. A smoke alarm is fitted.

Fully fenced and away from the main house, both cottages have their own decking & share an outside area with ample off-road parking.

You are also welcome to spend time with our 2 staffys in our garden.

We are right beside the Puketapu cycle track, so you can cycle straight from your cabin onto the track - https://www.hbtrails.nz/ride-our-trails/ .

There's loads to do during your stay: cycle the tracks, visit the wineries & beaches, see Art Deco Napier, visit Te Mata Peak, walk along Marine Parade. You will not be bored! We are also a great retreat if you are on business or just want to get away from it all.

With very little light pollution, on a clear night you might see the Milky Way.

On request we have secure storage for all bikes (please have your own insurance cover).
