The Cow & Calf Cottages are 2 modern self-contained cottages.

Cow Cottage sleeps 3 people. It has 2 bedrooms with one double bed & 1 single. The spacious open plan lounge has a Smart TV, a modern fully fitted & well-equipped kitchen, & bathroom with shower & toilet. Double glazed with heat pump/aircon, smoke & carbon monoxide alarms.

Calf Cottage sleeps 1 & has everything you need whilst away from home: your own bathroom with shower & toilet, single bed, Smart TV, heat pump/aircon, microwave, kettle, toaster & fridge. Smoke alarm fitted.

Fully fenced & away from the main house, both cottages have their own decking & share an outside area. Sit on the decking drinking a glass of wine, soaking up the great views! We are by Puketapu Road so very easy to get to Napier/ Hastings. We offer free off-road parking.

We are beside Puketapu cycle track, so cycle straight onto the track to the wineries or beyond.

There's loads to do: cycle the tracks, visit the wineries & beaches, see Art Deco Napier, visit Te Mata Peak, walk along Marine Parade. You will not be bored! We are also a great retreat if you are on business or just want to get away from it all.

With very little light pollution, on a clear night you might see the Milky Way.

On request we have secure storage for all bikes (please have your own insurance cover).

Located at the edge of the Napier CBD, you’re perfectly situated to explore city on foot or to head further afield to the many attractions and destinations Hawke’s Bay has to offer. If you want to make your Hawke’s Bay experience extra special, we look forward to meeting you. 415 Marine Parade offers among other things, full cooked breakfasts, evening drinks with canapes, and a turndown service, with chocolates and port. All hosted in extremely comfortable surroundings. All suites have sea views, with four suites opening onto balconies.

Biddy and Brin welcome you to their architecturally designed waterfront home offering warm hospitality, stunning sea views and beautiful sunrises from the comfort of your bedroom. We also offer cosy surroundings and a continental breakfast. The B&B suite consists of a private lounge (with TV, Netflix, fridge,tea/coffee making facilities) a separate bedroom (with queen bed and quality linen) and a private bathroom with spa bath and separate shower.
Enjoy the views across the beach towards Mahia, Napier port and Bluff Hill. Experience the magic of the sun rising out of the Pacific Ocean and on those special nights the full moon rising over the sea! As we are on the National walkway/cycleway, you may enjoy a walk or a cycle (we have bikes available) soaking up the Hawke's Bay sun. Most days you can enjoy a swim in the sea, right in front of our house followed by a welcoming hot spa.
Napier has many events over the summer including the Art Deco celebrations, the Mission winery concert and Church Road winery Jazz concert. The world class Cape Kidnappers golf course and gannet colony are a 30-minute drive away. There are also many wineries to visit and warm balmy evenings to enjoy.
