About Glenmac Farmstay

Glenmac is a 4000 acre hll country farm situated in the scenic Waitaki Valley (inland from Oamaru and near to Kurow).
A working farm running Merino sheep and beef cattle.
Farm activities are seasonal.
Available either on farm or nearby are -
Four wheel drive farm tour, great tramping and mountain bike tracks, river swimming in summer. Near to golf course, river or lake fishing (guide available), tramping, winery visit, fossil trail , Duntroon wetlands, lakes and rivers. On Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail.
The comfortable Farmhouse rooms are either ensuite or shared bathroom, double, queen or single beds with electric blankets. Tariff includes Bed and Breakfast with Dinner and lunch available by prior arrangement.

"The Quarters" is separate Self contained accommodation with five rooms, comfortable beds, TV, electric blankets. Suitable for groups, families or individuals.
Full kitchen, shower, toilet , lounge with Freeview TV.

Facilities for motor homes.

Wonderful opportunities for photographers and artists to capture some of the country scenes.

Home cooked meals. Friendly country hospitality. A home away from home.

We also cater lunch for groups with other visit options available.
